Terms of use

The service

r4nkit lets creators run free prediction leagues for their Patreon community. r4nkit involves no money, bets or prizes. If a creator offers a prize, that's between the creator and their community.

Your account

You sign in with your Patreon account and you're responsible for what happens with it. Whether you can play in a community depends on that community's Patreon membership rule; if your membership changes, so does your access. The display name you choose must not impersonate anyone.

What you write

Your reasoning and display name stay yours. By posting them you allow r4nkit and the community's creator to show them in the app and to read or show them on live streams and in videos.

Don't post hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content, spam, other people's personal information, or anything illegal.

Moderation

Creators and their moderators can hide any reasoning in their community. We can remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

Running a community

If you start a league on r4nkit, the Patreon page it's linked to must be yours. You're responsible for your community: its name and description, anything you promise your members (prizes included), and moderating what they post. Communities are free while r4nkit is in beta. We can hide or remove a community that breaks these terms or misrepresents a Patreon page.

Fair play

One account per person. Don't use bots, scripts or extra accounts to gain an advantage. Picks lock at the times shown, and our server's clock decides. Results and points can be corrected if a result is entered wrongly.

Availability

r4nkit is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or end it.

Not affiliated

r4nkit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games, League of Legends Esports, Patreon or any team. Team names and logos belong to their owners.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of r4nkit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using r4nkit after a change, you accept the new terms.
